The plants are symbols of life, abundance, growth, so we have to prevent drying and die, so you should plan a garden terrace with little maintenance.
In Chinese culture is not well seen in the garden the mixing of food crops with decorative, it is appropriate to allocate a physical space to each one.

Plants

The evergreen conifers that have the form associated with the fire element, provide yang energy during the winter.
Flowers and plants play a very important role to capture the positive energy or “Chi”. For example, if we want to improve relationships, you must place a white vase with red flowers or fresh roses on the nightstand.
Jasmine is the ground of friendship and is an excellent gift for when we go on a visit.
Chrysanthemums bring joy and happiness to our homes. In Chinese, this flower is known as “star-studded sky” or “drink wine made with peaches immortals”. Chrysanthemums are associated with retirement and a quiet life.
Green is the color of growth. Green plants transmit peace and harmony while relieving the troubled minds. They reduce stress and bring balance, harmony and peace.
Plants with thorns may attract negative energy but can also revive the positive energy in areas of the home where it remained inactive; thus, the Chi moves throughout our house.
Round-leaved plants capture the positive energy and bring good fortune.

Water sources

Water is a symbol of creative energy, and improves the well-being: economic, family, etc. Therefore it is desirable to add water sources or to place pools.
The form for pools and fountains should preferably be circular or irregular; sources and the same material, and objects included as rocks. Also remember that water should not stagnate.
